Code smells & refactoring, by example.
At our Meetup on Thursday evening Oktober 17th, Marc, Willem and Rob will learn you how code smells and refactoring provides you with a vocabulary for making explicit what’s up with your code. They will show you how to improve code in small, controlled steps, while keeping it working all the time, using the Gilded Rose kata. Delivering value and making improvements are not contradictory – on the contrary ;-).
Free dinner is served beforehand and some drinks after the talk.
So join us and let us know you’re coming so we can tune the catering to the number of participants.
Agenda:
17:30 – Walk-in
18:00 – Diner
19:00 – Start of the kata
20:30 – Drinks
21:00 – End.
